Tommy Russell Sizemore Jr.

Tommy Russell Sizemore Jr., 68, of Franklin, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2016, in Baltimore, Maryland.

He was born Aug. 28, 1947, in Oneida, Kentucky, to Tommy Sr. and Hallie (Holland) Sizemore.

Tommy worked construction for Central Engineer of Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing, frog gigging, crabbing, cookouts, hunting mushrooms and dancing. He also liked making handmade baskets. Tommy enjoyed fellowship at both Locust Grove and Friendship Pentecostal Church.

He is survived by his children, Angela (Roy) Nash of Denton, Maryland, and Eric Sizemore of Franklin; two sisters, Katherine (John) Sizemore-Case of Franklin and Helen (Chuck) Sizemore-Leonard of Manchester, Kentucky; a brother, Clarence (Judith) Sizemore of Trafalgar; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his wife, Joyce Sizemore; a son, Mark Sizemore; his parents, Tommy Sr. and Hallie Sizemore; five brothers, Willie, Aster, Robert Lee Sr., Melvin and Arville Sizemore; and a sister, Nora Mae Sizemore.

A visitation will be conducted from 2 to 4 p.m. Monday at the Hickory Ridge Lane Senior Center,  2314 Hickory Ridge Lane, Morgantown. A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Locust Grove Pentecostal Church, 3522 Peoga Road, Trafalgar. Burial will be at Friendship Church Cemetery in Trafalgar.
