Janet (Haymaker) Baker, 86, Greenwood, died Monday, March 28, 2016, at Aspen Trace in Greenwood.
She is survived by her children, Mike Baker of Greenwood, Mardena (Jack) Duncan of Indianapolis, Malana (Mark) Tharp of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Meresa (Jim) Girdley of Greenwood; a sister, Sharon Meek of Franklin; 14 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Maurice Baker.
James Girdley will conduct a service at 11 a.m. Monday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 U.S. 31 South (Morton Street) in Franklin. Friends may call from 2 to 8 p.m. Sunday and from 10 a.m. until time of service Monday at the mortuary. Burial will be at Bluff Creek Cemetery in Greenwood.
Memorial contributions may be made in lieu of flowers to the “Bluff Creek Children’s Wing.” Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
