GREENWOOD
Diane M. Bernhardt, 62, of Greenwood, passed away Saturday, March 19, 2016.
She was born April 19, 1953, in Evansville to the late Leo Goelzhauser and Mary Elizabeth Barthel.
She married Richard Lee Bernhardt on Aug. 24, 1974, and he survives.
Diane devoted her life to helping others. She asked for nothing and gave everything. Diane’s light is a light that will never leave us.
Other survivors include her sons, Scott, Kevin and Paul Bernhardt; stepmother Jean Goelzhauser; brothers Bill (Kathy) Hedge, Tim (Connie) Goelzhauser, Tom (Sabrina) Goelzhauser and Mike (Kate) Goelzhauser; and sisters Mimi (Damien) Scheessele, Louise (Robert) Hauert, Lisa (Joe) Popham and Christine (Dennis) Hasler.
Visitation will be 4 to 7 p.m. today at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service, Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., Greenwood 46142. Funeral Mass will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at Our Lady of the Greenwood Church, 335 S. Meridian St., Greenwood with additional visitation 10 to 11 a.m. prior to the service at the church. Burial at Greenwood Cemetery.
Memorial contributions have been suggested to Our Lady of the Greenwood Church.
