The Johnson County Recycling District will offer a class on food waste reduction and composting on Tuesday.
The class, “You Are What You Eat and So Is Your Compost!” will start at 6 p.m. at the district office, 900 Arvin Road, Suite A, Franklin.
Participants will learn how their shopping habits contribute to household waste. Participants also can register for a drawing to win a compost bin.
