Local jazz and show choirs will compete in state finals this weekend.
Franklin Community High School’s choir will be competing in the show choir state finals. Heritage Singers will sing at 6:30 p.m. Saturday at the Indiana State School Music Association event at North Central High School, 1801 E. 86th St., Indianapolis.
Whiteland Community High School’s vocal jazz group sings at 7:50 p.m., and Greenwood Community High School’s jazz group takes the stage at 8:30 p.m.
Admission is $11 for a student and $13 for adult per session.
