Show choirs take top spots at competitions

Local show choirs sang and danced their way to top finishes.

Whiteland Community High School Rhythm Masters placed second runner up at the Shelbyville Singing Sensational. Senior Savannah Craven was awarded Rhythm Masters’ Outstanding Performer. Junior Alexa Davis was awarded Grand Champion of the Solo Competition.

Franklin Community High School’s advanced Signature Sound choir placed second and Bella Voce was named Grand Champions in the Concert Choir division. The Heritage Singers placed fourth in the Large Mixed Show Choir division and secured a berth to the Indiana State Show Choir Finals for the first time in school history.

Indian Creek High School competed at Lawrence Central. Their choirs did not place.

Results from Center Grove High School were not available Monday.
