A fundraiser for the Velasquez family of Franklin, whose daughter, Athena, 11, is facing leukemia, will be April 10 at Scotty’s Brew Club at Hillview Country Club.
The fundraiser will be 1 to 5 p.m. with entertainment by Everyday King and Seldom Surreal. The country club is at 1800 E. King St., Franklin.
All donations collected will be given to the Victor and Lupe Velasquez family to help them with Athena’s treatment expenses. You can also donate at a Go Fund Me page at https://www.gofundme.com/wtwdktt8.
