Billy Wayne Beasley, 71, of Huntington, West Virginia, passed away Friday, Feb. 26, 2016.
He was born Nov. 15, 1944, in Portland, Tennessee, to Elmer S.C. and Mildred (Brown) Beasley.
Billy was a U.S. Army Vietnam veteran, and he loved to travel, watch John Wayne movies and listen to George Jones. He will be missed by his family and friends across the country.
Billy is survived by his brothers, Elmer Glen (Mavis) Beasley and Ronnie (Cheryl) Beasley, both of Greenwood; sister, Evelyn Wilson of Orlando, Florida; and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Ruth Mason.
Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood with burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 1 p.m. until the time of service at the funeral home.
