Johnson County high school graduating seniors who intend to pursue a career in music may be eligible for a scholarship from a local music advocacy group.
Matinee Musicale is offering a $600 scholarship. Students must have a B or higher grade-point average and must have been accepted into the school of music at an accredited college or university.
A recital will be conducted April 10 in which winning students will be required to participate.
