GREENWOOD
Jeffery P. Walker, 64, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016.
Born Nov. 8, 1951, in Indianapolis, he was the son of Paul and Jewel (Dorsey) Walker.
Jeff was a 1970 graduate of Southport High School.
He worked as a pipefitter/welder with Local Union No. 440 for many years, retiring in 2010.
He enjoyed camping, doing yard work, and mostly, spending time with his grandchildren.
Jeff is survived by his parents; wife, Elaine (Hildwein); a son, Brian (Meggan) Walker; a daughter, Lisa Walker; a brother, Garry Walker; a sister, Diana Hall; seven grandchildren; and one great-granddaughter.
Funeral services will be at 6 p.m. Tuesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with visitation from 4 p.m. until time of the service.
