Woman arrested on prostitution charge

A Mooresville woman was arrested on a prostitution charge after an undercover investigation.

A Johnson County Sheriff’s Office investigator found an online advertisement for sexual activities for $150 to $220. The detective began texting and calling the woman to set up a meeting, according to the report.

On Monday, the detective and Morgan Chasity Craig, 24, agreed to meet for sex at a Johnson County home for a price of $240, the report said.

When Craig got the money and began to take off her clothes, the detective told her he was an officer and she was arrested, the report said.

Police also arrested a man who had driven Craig to the home, Timothy Allen Coffee, 31, Fillmore. Police said Coffee had warrants out of Hendricks, Morgan and Johnson counties for charges of failure to appear in court and violating probation.

Craig, 1675 E. State Road 42, was taken to the Johnson County jail and held on $1,000 bond.

Coffee, 9345 E. County Road 525S, was held at the jail without bond.
