INDIANAPOLIS
Dewey Owens, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 20, 2016.
He was born Dec. 19, 1933, in Clay County, Kentucky, to the late Jerry and Victoria (Martin) Owens.
He is survived by his wife, Connie Owens; sons, Don (Rebecca) Owens and Dillon Owens; daughters, Debbie (Jeff) Scott and Lori (Bryan) Muncie; 17 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
He was also preceded in death by his former wife, Nancy (Johnson) Owens.
There will be a memorial visitation from 1 to 5 p.m. Friday at Southwood Assembly of God, 8700 S. Meridian St., Indianapolis.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Wheeler Mission Ministries, 205 E. New York St., Indianapolis, IN 46204.
