Letter: County could use quality control person

To the editor:

The City of Greenwood and Johnson County are working hard to repave our roads and doing a great job.

But it seems right after they get a section of road finished, along comes another contractor or someone who cuts those “squares” in those roads, does their work, sometimes attempts to patch it badly or just leaves it not patched at all. Either way, it messes up that great, new pavement for a long time.

And neither the city nor the county seem to have a quality control person who follows up on these people to be sure they repair the cutout properly. Why?
