Roger D. Wade

EDINBURGH

Roger D. Wade, 54, of Edinburgh, passed away on Wednesday, Feb. 17, 2016, at Kindred Hospital South in Greenwood.

He was born March 27, 1961, in Franklin. He was the son of Donald Clifton and Annie M. (Fitch) Wade who preceded him in death.

He is survived by two sons, Brad (Billie Hadley) Wade of Edinburgh and Devin Wade of Columbus; a daughter, Felicia Wade of Columbus; three brothers, Donald R. (Rosemary) Wade of North Vernon, Robert L. (Barbara) Wade of Edinburgh and Bruce D. (Allison) Wade of Franklin; two sisters, Doris A. (Steve) Feese of Columbus and Vera M. (John) Olmstead of Edinburgh; three grandchildren, Iris McTarsney, Quitnon McTarsney and Lilly McTarsney; and several nieces and nephews.

He enjoyed spending time with family, fishing, woodworking, movies, playing cards, and was an IU and Colts fan.

A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday by Bishop Danny L. Carter at St. George Lutheran Church. Calling will be from 2 to 6 p.m. Sunday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home, 302 E. Main Cross St., Edinburgh, and from 11 a.m. until time of service on Monday at the church. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
