Mildred L. Holman, 94, of Indianapolis, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 18, 2016, at her residence.
Born March 17, 1921, in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Joshua and Leatha (Sutton) Landers.
She was a 74-year member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church, Sayrna Shrine Guild, United Senior Action, Red Hat Society and Association of American Women in Radio and Television.
Mildred was also an avid quilter, winning numerous awards at the county and state fair level.
Mildred worked for 28 years at WTTV-Channel 4, retiring in 1986 as director of personnel and government affairs.
Mildred is survived by her son, David (Donna) Holman; daughter-in-law, Sandra Holman; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and 10 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, David; and a son, Richard Holman.
Funeral services will be at noon Tuesday at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of service Tuesday at the funeral home.
