Gloria Jeanette Work

FRANKLIN

Gloria Jeanette Work, 77, passed away Tuesday, Feb. 16, 2016, at Franciscan St. Francis Health in Indianapolis. She was a resident of Franklin.

She was born June 21, 1938, in Gordon, Georgia to Ray Walton and Lorene (Bloodworth) Wood.

She married Robert Work on Jan. 21, 1956. He preceded her in passing on May 30, 1992.

Jeanette is survived by children, Wanda Moran of Indianapolis, Mike (Missy) Work of Indianapolis, Monica Work of Martinsville, Scott (Beth) Work of Whiteland and Amanda (Brian) Boehnlein of Whiteland; two brothers, Walton and Ronald Wood, both of Georgia and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in passing by her parents; husband, Bob; children, Bobby Work and Pam Work and grandchildren, Cody and Amber.

She attended school in Georgia.

Jeanette was employed by the Indiana Masonic Home as a certified nursing assistant, retiring after 25 years of dedicated service.

Jeanette loved spending time with her family, especially the grandchildren.

A celebration of Jeanette’s life will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Flinn and Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St. (U.S. 31 North) in Franklin. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to service time Sunday at the funeral home.
