Jeanette L. (Lawson) Albertson, 61, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, at her home in Trafalgar.
Jeanette was born on Oct. 1, 1954, in Franklin to Edward L. Lawson and Ina Belle (Hatchett) Lawson. She was a 1972 graduate of Center Grove High School and went on to marry the love of her life, Maynard Anthony “Tony” Albertson on March 15, 1973, at the Grace Assembly of God in Morgantown. He survives after 42 devoted years of marriage.
Jeanette was a member of the West Newton Worship and Youth Center in Camby. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren who called her “Mim.”
Jeanette was a caring and loving woman who was always “Momma Nette” to everyone she met.
She will be dearly missed by her husband, Tony; mother, Ina Belle Cheatham; children, Tony (Kari) Albertson, Kandice (Ricky) Greenwood and Lee (Jessica) Albertson; grandchildren, Noah and Kaitlyn Greenwood, Mason Albertson, Hunter and Blake Leslie and “little bit” who is on the way; siblings, Janet (Roger) Williams, Anita Walker, Patricia Boller, Christina Nuckols and Edward Lawson; and many nieces and nephews.
Jeanette was preceded in death by her father, Edward.
The Rev. Tony Cannon will conduct a funeral service at 1 p.m. today at the West Newton Worship and Youth Center, 7860 S. Mooresville Road in Camby. Friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time at the church. A private graveside service will be conducted at East Hill Cemetery at a later date.
Funeral Services have been entrusted to Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center in Morgantown.
