GREENWOOD
G. Lorene (Eaton) Marshall, 90, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday, Feb. 11, 2016, in Greenwood.
She was born Dec. 19, 1925, in Glasgow, Kentucky, to James Ernest and Laura Zelma (Wheet) Eaton.
Lorene loved being with her family and spending time taking the grandchildren to ball games, band practice and other extra curricular activities.
Being the family monarch, she enjoyed scrapbooking her family’s history in pictures.
She was employed with Eli Lilly and Co. as a group leader in dry products until retiring in 1987 after 40½ years of service.
Survivors include her daughter, Sandra (James) McAndrews of Franklin; a brother, Richard Eaton of Florida; three grandchildren, Tara Simon, Kimberly McAndrews and John McAndrews; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William C. Marshall; five brothers and two sisters.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Monday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 N. U.S. 31. Visitation will be from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Oaklawn Memorial Gardens in Indianapolis.
