Republican Party to select township board member

The Clark Township Advisory Board needs a new member who will assist in setting the township budget along with other issues pertinent to the township.

Precinct committee members of the Republican Party will meet at 5 p.m. Feb. 22 to name a new advisory board member. Current member Beth Sipek resigned after moving out of state.

Any Republican Party member who lives in Clark Township can apply for the position. The term for the advisory board position ends Dec. 31, 2018.

Residents who are interested must send their applications to Johnson County Republican Party chairwoman Beth Boyce by 5 p.m. Feb. 19. Letters of interest should be mailed to Boyce at 845 Richart Lane, Greenwood 46142.
