Judith J. Stuck

Judith J. Stuck, 71, New Whiteland, passed away peacefully Monday, Feb. 8, 2016, surrounded by her family.

Born April 5, 1944, in Greenfield, she retired from Kmart after 35 years of dedicated service.

Judy enjoyed NASCAR, the Colts, watching soap operas, gambling and walking her precious dog, Jewels.

Survivors include her husband, Wendell Stuck; children, Mike Cook, Mark Cook (Kim), Lisa Morin (John) and Teresa Wilkerson (Rusty); stepsons, Chad Stuck and Jeremy Stuck; grandchildren, Lance LaBonte (Brittany), Samantha Saxon, Courtney Jones (Devin) Seth Morin, Cobi Young, Morgan Cook and Travis Cook; siblings, Verla Doughty, Marita Beaty and Randy Schaekel; five great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Ivan and Kathryn Schaekel; brother, Darl Schaekel; and grandchild, Marqui Cook.

Visitation will be 3 to 8 p.m. Friday at G. H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, 1605 S. State Road 135. The funeral service will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home. She will be laid to rest at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.
