A local community foundation is giving funds to 25 organizations.
Johnson County Community Foundation will be giving the money as part of their 25th anniversary celebration.
It kicked off its “25 Days of Giving” celebration by surprising Habitat for Humanity of Johnson County with a $1,000 grant.
JCCF will celebrate by giving away a total of 25 surprise grants this year to nonprofit organizations serving Johnson County.
The foundation will announce surprise winners, as well as share ways that community members can nominate an organization, on Facebook: facebook.com/jccfindiana and Twitter: twitter.com/JCCFIndiana.
