Charlotte Johnson, 94, of Greenwood, passed away on Feb. 5, 2016.
She was a volunteer for more than 35 years at University Heights Hospital and Community South Hospital. Charlotte was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church, and their choir. She also sang with the Eli Lilly Chorus.
Charlotte is survived by sons, Dennis (Rebecca) Johnson and Scott (Paula) Johnson; daughter in-law, Betty Johnson; grandchildren, Theresa Johnson, Amanda Carr, Kevin Johnson, Laura Johnson, Sean Johnson, Kyle Johnson, and Kristen Jolley and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, George Johnson, Jr. and Carl Lofgren; son, Russell Johnson and grandson, Brian Johnson.
A funeral service will be at 1 p.m. today at G. H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to service time today at the funeral home. Charlotte will be laid to rest in Washington Park East Cemetery.
