Starbucks, 2279 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 7:25 a.m. Thursday to a report of battery that occurred elsewhere.

Thefts

• 1500 block of Franklin Place Court: Police responded at 2:14 a.m. Friday to a report of a stolen handgun and Xbox and games.
• 900 block of Brookstone Drive: Police responded at 8:22 p.m. Thursday to a report of a stolen cellphone.
• Walmart, 2125 N. U.S. 31: Police responded at 6:16 p.m. Thursday to a report of two people possibly shoplifting who were then issued no-trespass warnings to the store.
• Franklin Community High School, 2600 Cumberland Drive: Police responded at 12:13 p.m. Thursday to a report of a student stealing lunch money from another student.

Domestic battery

• 200 block of Peachtree Court: Police responded at 6:45 p.m. Thursday to a report of battery. Three people were arrested.
• 1500 block of Stonehedge Court: Police responded at 12:52 p.m. Thursday to a report of domestic battery. A person was arrested for domestic battery, strangulation and interfering with reporting a crime.
• 1000 block of Rolling Hill Road: Police responded at 12:15 p.m. Thursday to a report of domestic battery.

Fraud

1100 block of Windhorst Way: Police responded at 9:03 a.m. Thursday to a report of fraud.

Thefts

• 300 block of Commerce East Drive: Police responded at 6:57 a.m. Friday to a report of a stolen trailer.
• Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 9:36 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft. A woman was arrested and released on a summons on a charge of conversion.
• 100 block of Plymouth Rock Court: Police responded at 7:21 p.m. Thursday to a report of a purse taken from an unlocked vehicle.
• Kohl’s, 550 Fry Road: Police responded at 6:10 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft. A man was arrested on a charge of theft and an outstanding warrant.
• 100 block of Plymouth Rock Court: Police responded at 4:41 p.m. Thursday to a report of a cell phone stolen from a vehicle.
• 2500 block of Belmot Drive: Police responded at 1:51 p.m. Thursday to a report of theft.
• Kroger, 3100 Meridian Parke Drive: Police responded at 12:20 p.m. Thursday to a report of a woman stealing several boxes of diapers.
• Target, 895 S. State Road 135: Police responded at 9:07 a.m. Thursday to a report of six batteries stolen from a scissor lift parked behind the store.

Criminal mischief

1600 block of Midland Court, Franklin: Police responded at 11 a.m. Thursday to a report of a dent in a tailgate of a truck.

Matthew Steven Taylor, 38, 4083 Primrose Court, Greenwood; arrested on charges of possession of marijuana and public intoxication; released on $250 bond. 

Samantha Ann Wright, 25, 120 14th St., Franklin; arrested on a warrant for failing to appear in court; held on $3,500 bond.

Derrick Lamont Smith, 26, 119 E. Troy Ave., Apt. 2, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of habitual traffic offenses; released on $1,200 bond.

Brandon B. Anderson, 31, 75 Longfield Lane, Greenfield; arrested on charges of domestic battery, strangulation and interference with reporting a crime; held on $3,200 bond.

Justin L. Stephens, 36, 6447 Hoover Road, Apt. B, Indianapolis; arrested on charges of bond forfeiture, invasion of privacy and domestic battery; held without bond.

Emily Catherine Drake, 25, 6215 W. County Road 600 South, Trafalgar; arrested on a charge of public nudity; released on $1,000 bond.

Jerrica L. Pitchford, 25, 236 Peachtree Court Apt. B, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of battery; released on $1,000 bond.

Levi S. Walsman, 28, 468 S. Main St., Franklin; arrested on a charge of bond forfeiture; held without bond.

Justin Dale Lucas, 27, 236 Peachtree Court, Apt B, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of battery; released on $2,000 bond.

Erica Shay Pickett, 28, 3348 Wembly Road, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction; released on $250 bond.

Jennifer Lynne Spears, 35, 9457 Huggin Hollow Road, Martinsville; arrested on a charge of driving while suspended with a prior conviction; released on $2,000 bond.

Bradley S. Benefiel, 25, 4886 Oakton Way, Greenwood; arrested on a charge of battery; released on $1,000 bond.

Kail W. Smith, 30, 617 Joy Drive, Greenwood; arrested on charges of driving while suspended with a prior conviction and possession of paraphernalia; released on $2,000 bond.

Angelie Fugett, 61, 3444 E. 25th St., Indianapolis; arrested on a charge of violation of probation and on an out-of-county warrant; held without bond.
