Greenwood Public Library will sponsor and benefit from a literary tour of England this fall.

Readers can immerse themselves in British literature and culture with a 10-day tour of England that will cover hotspots covering Shakespeare, Jane Austen and Harry Potter.

Dates of travel will be Sept. 7 to 17.

An informational session is set for 6:30 p.m. Feb. 24 at the Greenwood Public Library, 310 S. Meridian St.

Itinerary highlights include a city tour of London, a day at Harry Potter Studios, a dinner and overnight in Oxford, a guided tour of Oxford, a full-day Shakespeare tour, Gloucester Cathedral, tours of locations where Downton Abbey was shot, the Jane Austen Festival and more.

Accommodations include stays in historic hotels in the heart of each area with first class service. Breakfasts are included on the trip, as well as a pub dinner and a cream tea. Transportation coaches are included for travel between cities during the length of the trip.

Fees and tours are included at each location with knowledgeable tour guides.

Book your trip for as low as $2,000 per person, based on the number of bookings. Airfare is not included. Discounted airfare rates are available through Tilson Travel at an approximate rate of $1,200 per person.

A percentage of each booking will be donated to the Greenwood Public Library.
