Roger and Rita Abell of Greenwood are celebrating their 40th wedding anniversary.
Mr. Abell and his wife, the former Rita Parkinson, were married Feb. 7, 1976, in Indianapolis.
He is employed at Raytheon.
She is a homemaker.
They have two children, Rachel Householder and Ryan Abell, and four grandchildren.
