Local high school color guards twirled their way to top five finishes at a weekend competition.
The Greenwood Irish Guard of Greenwood Community High School placed second in open class competition at Danville High School.
Whiteland Community High School’s junior varsity color guard placed fourth in the Regional A class at Danville. The varsity guard placed ninth in Class A.
The color guard from Indian Creek placed 10th.
Guards from Franklin Community High School and Center Grove High School did not compete.
