2400 block of Baywood Court: Police responded at 1:53 p.m. Monday to a report of a physical altercation. A man was arrested.
Fraud
2500 block of South Stonybrook Lane, Franklin: Police responded at 10:01 a.m. Monday to a report of a phone scam involving a caller who claimed to be from the IRS.
Hit-and-run accident
1600 block of Haystack Court: Police responded at 4:54 p.m. Monday to an accident in which the driver, Jeremiah Carter, had also left the scene of an accident at Stop 18 and Averitt Road. A breathalyzer test revealed his blood alcohol level was .09 percent. He was taken to a hospital for treatment and subsequently arrested on a charge for failing to stop at the scene of a property damage accident.
Thefts
4600 block of East Rocklane Road, Greenwood: Police responded at 9:36 p.m. Monday to a report of two men entering a home alleging that they were there to check wires in a house. The homeowner later reported her purse containing medication, cash, credit cards and checks, was missing.
