Barbara L. Powell, 83, of Beech Grove, died Thursday, Jan. 21, 2016.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Homer Powell; and son, Richard Powell.
She is survived by children, Danny M. Powell and Doretta Powell; sister, Freda Brock; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m. Friday at G.H. Herrmann Madison Avenue Funeral Home, 5141 Madison Ave., Indianapolis. Burial will be at Concordia Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to your local Salvation Army, in care of the funeral home.
