INDIANAPOLIS
James M. Merrick, 75, of Indianapolis, passed away on Jan. 14, 2016.
He was born May 19, 1940, in Beech Grove, to the late Charles T. and Tres (Brewer) Merrick.
Jim was employed at Ford Motor Co. for 45 years.
Jim was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Gene and Kenny; granddaughter, Kaylie; and first wife, Rita.
He is survived by his wife, Jessie M. Froschauer; daughter, Traci (Chris) Hodges; sons, Michael (Kimberly) Merrick and James W. Froschauer III (Natalie); grandchildren, Jake (Mallory), Craig (Lindsey), Evan, Marcus, Lindsey and Bryana; four great-grandsons; sister, Dalene Nordyke; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.
A second memorial celebration will be conducted at 1 p.m. Feb. 6. Call his daughter, Traci, after Jan. 31 at 422-8330 for location information.
