Mark A. Vest, 58, of Nineveh, passed away unexpectedly Monday, Jan. 18, 2016.

Mark was born May 15, 1957, to Ted and Carolyn Vest in Indianapolis.

He was a maintenance electrician for Pilkington NSG since 1992.

Mark was a Scout Master for Troop No. 218, a lifetime member of the NRA, an avid outdoorsman and hunter and a former member of the Wayne Township Volunteer Fire Department.

Mark is survived by his loving wife, Kathy; children, Matt (Claire) Vest and Brad (Megan) Vest; grandchildren, Taylor, Matthew Jr. and Creighton Vest; father, Ted Vest; sisters, Kathy (Gary) Morgan and Karen Vest; and brother, Matt (Susan) Vest.

He was preceded in death by his mother, Carolyn.

A memorial service will be held at 3:30 p.m. Sunday at Wilson St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory-Greenwood Chapel, 481 W. Main St., with visitation from noon to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
