A workshop on the subject of human trafficking will be Jan. 26 in Franklin.
Youth Connections, an advocacy group for at-risk youth, and the Indiana Youth Services Association will host the workshop starting at 9:30 a.m. at the Youth Connections office, 460 N. Morton St., Suite A, Franklin.
This program is a training session for professionals, parents and the community that will include an introduction to the issue of human trafficking and commercial sexual exploitation. Other topics will include the impact of the crime, myths associated with trafficking, and how it can be prevented.
