Covenient care clinic opens in Franklin

Franklin residents who have a sniffle or fever have a new place to get care in the city.

WindRose Health Network opened a convenient care clinic at 55 N. Milford Drive in November.

The clinic is similar to a minute clinic, where patients can get treatment for maladies such as a fever or cough, said Scott Rollett, chief operating office of WindRose said.

Patients who need more emergency care, such as needing stitches or for a broken arm, will have to go to an immediate care center or emergency room.

Fees for the clinic are on a sliding scale, meaning patients will be billed based on their income and family size for the uninsured. Most major insurances will be accepted, said Rollett.
