Mitsubishi plant pledges to reduce pollution

A local manufacturing plant has joined an organization with a pledge to reduce pollution. 

Mitsubishi Climate Control and Mitsubishi Engines of North America has joined The Partners for Prevention Pollution.

The group is an organization of businesses, nonprofit organizations and governmental entities who are interested in pollution prevention.

The Franklin business makes refrigeration compressors and turbo chargers for vehicles. More than 250 workers are employed at the company.

Company workers signed the Partners Pledge, reflecting their commitment to protecting the local environment through the company.
