Trafalgar residents will need to take their aluminum cans, plastic food containers and glass bottles to a new location to be recycled.
The Recycle Spot at Morning Star Baptist Church, 3039 W. County Road 300S, has been closed. The Johnson County Recycling District is looking for another site in Trafalgar to place recycling bins but has not found one yet, according to a news release.
The closest recycling locations near the Trafalgar area include Prince’s Lakes Town Hall, 14 E. Lakeview Drive, Bargersville Senior Center, 14 W. Old South St., and the Johnson County Recycling District offices, 900 Arvin Road, Franklin.
All three recycling locations are open 24 hours a day.
