GREENWOOD
Martha R. Cartwright, 73, of Greenwood, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family on Thursday, Dec. 31, 2015.
Born on Jan. 18, 1942, in Seymour to the late Ben and Amy (Nichols) Cartwright, she was a 1959 graduate of Brownstown High School.
She retired from Indiana Bell/AT&T after 25 years of service.
She enjoyed going to Brown County, the Little Nashville Opery and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Rhea (Frank) Lucas; and her grandchildren, Delaney Grace Lucas and Ethan Samuel Lucas.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m. Tuesday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home at The Gardens at Olive Branch, followed by the funeral at 7 p.m. She will be laid to rest at The Gardens at Olive Branch Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Lung Association, in care of the funeral home.
