FRANKLIN
Rita (Burch) Abplanalp, 83, died Wednesday, Dec. 30, 2015. She was a resident of Franklin.
Survivors include her husband, Gil Abplanalp of Franklin; sons, Garry (Laura) of Holland, Michigan, and Dean (Dorcas) Abplanalp of Franklin; two sisters, Eleanor Wildman of Franklin and Margaret Walton of Loogootee; and brother, James Burch of Loogootee.
A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Monday at St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church, 114 Lancelot Drive, Franklin. Visitation will be from 1 to 7 p.m. Sunday at Flinn & Maguire Funeral Home, 2898 N. Morton St., Franklin. Burial will be at Greenlawn Cemetery in Franklin.
