WHITELAND
Velma C. (Morris) Wood, 81, died Sunday, Dec. 27, 2015, in McAllen, Texas. She was a resident of Whiteland.
Survivors include her husband, James D. Wood of Whiteland; two children, Steven “Randy” (Faye) Wood of Indianapolis and Cathy (Greg) Reasoner of Seymour; a brother, Kenneth Morris of Greensburg; five grandchildren; and a great-granddaughter.
A funeral service will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at Jessen Funeral Home, Whiteland Chapel, 729 U.S. 31 North. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Saturday at the the funeral home. Burial will be at Greenwood Cemetery.
