MOORESVILLE
John William Thurston, 78, of Mooresville, died Wednesday, Dec. 23, 2015.
Survivors include his wife, Carole Jean Thurston; daughters, Jeanne Lynne Thurston and Nancy Ann (Paul David) Ayton; three grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and sisters, Marilyn Whitfield and Norma Jean Pryor.
The service will be at 1 p.m. Monday at G.H. Herrmann Greenwood Funeral Home, 1605 S. State Road 135, with Pastor John Hallett officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens in Greenwood.
Memorial contributions may be made to ASPCA or American Cancer Society, in care of the funeral home.
