Home care company names top caregivers

Home Instead Senior Care Greenwood has announced Melanie Cunningham the 2015 CAREGiver of the Year.

Cunningham has worked for the company since 2013 in several capacities with patients of varying needs.

The company commended her for maintaining a positive attitude, according to a release.

The company also recognized Sandra Larson and Mary Lewis as top performing caregivers for the year. Larson has been with Home Instead Senior Care since 2012, and Lewis has been with the company since 2010. According to a statement, they have repeatedly helped establish new clients and picked up extra shifts throughout the year.

2 join Franklin-based insurance agency

Dana Rhorer, a Franklin native, recently joined Franklin-based Hometown Insurance as an insurance agent. The company also announced that Shelbyville resident Lee Edwards has joined the office.
