HARTSVILLE, South Carolina
Stanwyck MacArthur Melton, 72, died Tuesday, Dec. 15, 2015. He was a resident of Hartsville, South Carolina.
Survivors include two children, Michael (Hollie) Melton of Hartsville, South Carolina, and Cynthia Ann Wright of Prosperty, South Carolina; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and eight siblings, Joyce (Jerry) Giles and Bonnie Lee, both of Edinburgh, Delores (Steve) Fletcher of Flat Rock, and Pam Caldwell, Buck (Shelia) Melton, and Doug, Daren and Sharon Melton, all of Columbus.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Lottie Elizabeth “Libby” Melton.
A funeral service will be at 2 p.m. today at Chapel Norton Funeral Home, 1414 W. Carolina Ave., Hartsville, South Carolina. Burial will be at New Market Methodist Church Cemetery in Hartsville.
