A resident has reported that someone stole her Christmas laser light from her front yard, and the sheriff suspects that more decorations have been stolen in the area.
A woman who lives on Peterman Road, south of Fairview Road, in the Center Grove area reported the theft this week.
This was the first theft of holiday decorations that has been reported to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office so far this season, but Sheriff Doug Cox has been told that residents in the Center Grove area may not be making a report when decorations are stolen from their lawns.
Residents are encouraged to report any thefts from their property.
