Mr. and Mrs. Glenn Thompson and Roberta Thompson of Greenwood, formerly of Indianapolis, are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary with a gathering at their apartment club house Sept. 16. They also plan a second honeymoon to Pike’s Peak.
Mr. Thompson and his wife, the former Roberta Gordon, were married in Sturgis, Michigan on Sept. 16, 1967.
Mr. Thompson is a retired law enforcement officer and private security officer.
Roberta is retired from the University of Indianapolis.
They have two children, Kim (Brent) Richards and Mike (Angie) Thompson, both of Whiteland; and four grandchildren.
