Sing to me, o tannenbaum

One of Johnson County’s premier Christmas musical extravaganzas is set for this weekend at Grace Assembly of God.

The church’s annual Singing Christmas Tree Spectacular show is getting to be a mainstay of Christmas celebrations in the area, featuring a 30-foot Christmas tree, thousands of lights, indoor snow, multimedia wall, Christmas parade, ice skaters and great Christ-mas music.

The three free performances will take place at 7 p.m. Friday and Saturday and 6 p.m. Sunday.

People are encouraged to arrive early to ensure seating. Doors open at 6 p.m. Child care is provided for children 5 and younger.
