Franciscan VNS St. Francis Hospice is hosting a program for the community to help remember departed loved ones during the holiday season.
The Season of Sharing — Christmas Remembrance program will start at 7 p.m. Thursday at Southport Presbyterian Church, 7525 McFarland Blvd., Indianapolis.
The community is invited to a special candle-lighting ceremony and share an anecdote or memory about a loved one.
Each family is encouraged to bring a photo and display it on the table of honor. There also will be special choir and soloist music and the singing of Christmas carols, along with refreshments.
