3 arrested in Edinburgh on drug charges

Three people were arrested on drug charges after police searched an Edinburgh home.

Just after 7 a.m. Thursday, police searched a home in the 400 block of East Park Drive. They had gotten a tip that drug activity could be happening there, according to a police report.

Inside, they found heroin, scales, needles, smoking devices and cash, the report said.

Police arrested Dylan Durbin, 23, and Kenisha L. Jackson, 18, both of Edinburgh, on charges of dealing a narcotic drug, possession of paraphernalia, illegal possession of a syringe and possession of a synthetic drug.

Tyler Golden, 23, Edinburgh, was arrested on charges of visiting a common nuisance, illegal possession of a syringe and possession of paraphernalia.

All three were taken to the Johnson County jail. Durbin, 505 E. Park Drive, was being held on $38,400 bond; Jackson, 402 E. Park Drive, was being held on $19,200 bond; and Golden, 104 S. Pleasant St., was being held on $4,400 bond.

Police also are seeking a fourth person on a charge of maintaining a common nuisance, the report said.
