SHELBYVILLE

Scott L. Andrews, 53, of Shelbyville, passed away Monday, Nov. 30, 2015.

He was born Sept. 9, 1962, in Indianapolis. He was a 1980 graduate of Whiteland Community High School.

He enjoyed fishing and camping. He worked for Certified Lawn Care in Greenwood.

Survivors include two daughters, Amanda M. (James) Mawhinney of Shelbyville and Blake E. (Corey) Newkirk of Edinburgh; his mother, Janet Keske-Martinez of Shelbyville; his companion of many years, Bonnie Richardson of Franklin; five grandchildren, Elijah Hickman, Ellanor Mawhinney, Mason Mawhinney, Isabella Andrews and Lucas Newkirk; grandmother, Betty McGraw of Beech Grove; two brothers, Kyle (Denise) Andrews of Avon and Brent Andrews of Shelbyville; one niece, Alexa Andrews; and Scott’s special friends, Matt and Veronica Howe and their sons, Roman and Julian.

He was preceded in death by his father, William Andrews.

The Rev. John Eley will conduct a memorial service at 2 p.m. Saturday at Swartz Family Community Mortuary and Memorial Center, 300 S. Morton St. (U.S. 31 South) in Franklin. The family will receive friends from 1 p.m. until service time Saturday at the mortuary.
