At least two vehicles in the Center Grove area were broken into early Saturday.
A man reported just before 9 a.m. that someone broke into his truck in the 200 block of Leaning Tree Road and stole a drill, a smartphone, a tablet, a briefcase and a wrench, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office.
About a mile away, another resident reported that their vehicle in the 4000 block of Santa Clara Drive was also broken into.
A man reported at 5:26 p.m. Saturday that someone broke into the vehicle and stole change, sweatshirts and receipts.
The door was left ajar and papers were scattered on the ground, according to the report.
