Medications were stolen during a break-in at a veterinary office near Trafalgar.
The break-in happened sometime early Wednesday morning at Midwest Equine Veterinary Hospital, located in the 5200 block of S. County Road 150W, just outside of Trafalgar.
The thief or thieves got in through a side door and took multiple bottles of animal medications, including antibiotics and tranquilizers, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office. The medications stolen included Ketamine and Pentobarbital, the report said.
The sheriff’s office is investigating.
