Franklin

Shoplifting

Walmart, 2125 N. Morton St.: Loss prevention officers reported at 5:02 p.m. Tuesday that a woman attempted to steal a hot plate, produce, clothing and soda. She was arrested.

Theft

1900 block of Churchill Road: A woman reported at 12:27 p.m. Tuesday that someone stole a stroller off her porch.

Burglary

• 900 block of Graham Street: A woman reported at 10:16 a.m. Tuesday that a laptop, prescription medications, DVDs, a coffee maker and clothing were missing.
• 1100 block of Harvest Ridge Circle: A woman reported at 8:35 p.m. Tuesday that several juveniles were in her garage stealing food from her garage refrigerator. Her husband scared them off.

Thefts

• Walmart, 1133 N. Emerson Ave.: Police responded at 11:51 a.m. Tuesday to a report of theft from vending machines.
• 600 block of Nicole Drive: Police responded at 1:07 p.m. Tuesday to a report of stolen money.

Johnson County

Theft

4700 block of South County Road 550E: A man reported at 5:36 p.m. Tuesday that someone stole a trailer from  the property.
