Guns stolen from Bargersville home

Multiple guns were stolen from a home near Bargersville.

A man called police at 6:18 p.m. Monday and reported that someone broke into his home in the 2600 block of W. County Road 300N, just west of Bargersville.

The back door of the home was damaged, and several items, including guns, were stolen. At least one gun was a shotgun, according to a report from the Johnson County Sheriff’s office. The resident told police he had to check to see what was missing.

Two chainsaws that were in the man’s shed were found in the backyard, according to the report.
